Michael Pecchia

Michael Pecchia is Chief Financial Officer of Kindred Pet Services, where he leads finance, accounting, and FP&A, driving strategic planning and building the infrastructure required to support growth and long-term value creation. He brings more than 20 years of finance and accounting experience, including over eight years in private equity–backed, multi-site healthcare and services platforms and more than a decade in public accounting. Prior to joining Kindred, Michael spent five years with a private equity–backed veterinary hospital consolidator, where he played a central role in strengthening the company’s financial and operational foundation. He began as Corporate Controller and Director of Finance, building the core accounting, reporting, and control infrastructure during the platform’s early expansion. He later advanced into senior leadership roles overseeing enterprise financial reporting, treasury, internal controls, and M&A integration. During his tenure, the platform expanded from 12 locations to more than 110 and completed a successful recapitalization valued at approximately $1.5 billion. Michael was instrumental in transforming financial reporting into actionable operational insight, developing performance metrics aligned to financial results to drive accountability, performance, and informed decision-making across the organization. He is based in Boca Raton, Florida, where he lives with his wife, their children, and their high-energy Weimaraner, Lilly.
